With the renewed framework for Ofsted having a emphasis on the reading curriculum, join this practical workshop with Julie Sargent to find out effective and practical ways of weaving a thread of reading across the whole school.

A range of ideas will be provided, which will include:

- developing a 'spine' of high-quality texts
- reading for ‘real’: becoming a life-long reader
- ensuring progression in reading skills and vocabulary development
- reading across the curriculum

This workshop will be relevant for English subject leaders, phase leaders, reading ‘advocates’ and senior leaders within the primary phase.
