A unique opportunity for reception and Y1 teachers to attend an interactive online workshop offering an opportunity to explore the Opening Doors principles and strategies through poetry.

The aims of this session are to:

• Demonstrate how we can use rich and challenging texts with our very youngest pupils

• Exemplify the Opening Doors approach utilising opportunities for play, talk, early reading and writing

• Develop language and vocabulary through using rich and engaging texts

• Motivate and inspire young children through the medium of poetry.
